Jatropha integerrima Jacq.

Jatropha integerrima is a small evergreen shrub or tree, usually growing 3–6 m tall. It is easily recognized by its smooth green leaves, slender branches, and clusters of bright red to pink flowers that bloom almost throughout the year. Native to Cuba and the West Indies, it is widely cultivated in tropical regions as an ornamental plant for gardens and landscapes. Like other members of the Euphorbiaceae, it exudes a milky latex when injured. The plant attracts butterflies, bees, and other pollinators, making it valuable for ornamental biodiversity gardens.

Flowering & Fruiting: Nearly throughout the year.
Ecological Importance: Provides nectar for butterflies, bees, and other pollinators, enhancing urban biodiversity. It is mainly grown as an ornamental plant and is not considered invasive in India.
